ANCIENT ANATOLIAN MYTHS AND TALES

Abstract

The myths and fairy tales presented in this collection originate from various sources and are written in the Hittite language. Many of the texts have been preserved only in fragmentary form, making their restoration and reconstruction a challenging task in numerous cases. Nonetheless, we believe that these stories will pique the interest not only of folklorists, but also of a broader readership fascinated by myths, fairy tales, and the ancient world.
