FORMS OF LITERATURE DEVELOPMENT IN SOCIAL MEDIA
Abstract
The scholarly article explores the forms of literary communication on social media. The digitization of literature in the 21st century involves significant processes. It is important to interestingly demonstrate the influence of digital platforms on the formation of literature. The democratization of literature has presented a diverse spectrum that has reached a wide audience. New literary forms have emerged, such as instapoetics, "Twitterature", and serialized storytelling, which have adapted to the fast-paced, visually driven culture of social media. The study also analyzes how readers have transformed from passive consumers to active participants, which contributes to dynamic online literary communities and influences publishing trends. In addition, the paper discusses the contemporary challenges that accompany the digital industry. Among them, the specificity of text simplification, copyright issues, and marketing interests of commercialization. Finally, the scientific article emphasizes the role of social media in popularizing cross-cultural storytelling and creating global literary networks. The findings indicate that although social media poses certain risks, ultimately it offers unprecedented opportunities for literature to evolve, diversify, and flourish in the digital age.
The development of social media has brought many positive changes to the world of literature: opening up new avenues for authors, increasing the accessibility of books, and creating digital communities for readers. However, at the same time, new challenges have emerged, such as the decline of in-depth reading and the strengthening of commercial trends. The literature of the future will depend on maintaining this balance, so that technological progress supports the true values of literature.
