Abstract

Observations on Shakespeare's  late plays (“Cymbeline”, “The  Winter's Tale”, “Pericles, Prince of Tyre”, “Hurricane”) show significant differences in plot and structure compared to his early works. These plays introduce new narrative elements, suggesting a shift in the author’s creative style. This paper discusses the ideological and narrative parallels between Shakespeare’s “The Winter’s Tale” and Shota Rustaveli’s epic poem "The Man In The Panther’s Skin”. The analysis also considers the widely accepted claim in English literary criticism that Robert Greene’s prose romance Pandosto served as the primary source for Shakespeare’s play.

Key words: " The Man in The Panther’s Skin", "The Winter's Tale", “Reminiscence ", "Storyline".
