TEXT AND INTERPRETATION GIORGI KHORBALADZE “LITERATURE TO READ AGAIN (ANTI-SOVIET PATHOS AND BIBLICAL PARADIGMS IN THE LITERARY HERITAGE OF NODAR DUMBADZE“

Abstract

Postmodernism/Altermodern is the epoch of literary versions and interpretations. The outstandig Persons/authors of Postmodern epoch create the interesting versions and interpretations of well-known, conceptual texts of the world literature (Jullan Barnes/”Flaubert`s Parrot”, Michael Cunningham/ “The Hours”, Boris Akunin/”Hamlet”. Version” – conceptual narratives inspired by the outstanding writers of French Realism, English Modernism, Renaissance – Flaubert, Woolf, Shakespeare).

In Georgian literature identical world-outlook is reflected in the literary narratives of Rostom Chkheidze, Aka Morchiladze (“Georgian Literature”, “Georgian Notebooks. Nineteenth Century”, biographical portraits of famous Georgian authors). 

In the article we`ll try to analyse a new monograph of the professor Giorgi Khorbaladze “Literature to Read Again (Anti-Soviet Pathos and Biblical Paradigms in the Works of Nodar Dumbadze)”, exegetical explanation, interpretation of the novel by Nodar Dumbadze “The White Flags/Banners”.

Postmodernism (the Literary school as well as an epoch) underlines – it needs a well-educated reader as/because it`s “the literature of/for professors only”.
